TERMS OF SERVICES
1. Services Provided
Go Optic offers *mobile optical services*, including:
In-home/office eye measurement by licensed optician
Eyewear sales (prescription glasses, sunglasses)
Frame adjustments and repairs (where applicable)
Direct billing for insurance (subject to provider approval)
2. Appointments & Cancellations
Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
- A *minimum notice of 24 hours* is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
We reserve the right to refuse service due to safety concerns, inappropriate behavior, or incomplete information.
3. Payments & Insurance Billing
Full payment is due at the time of service unless direct billing is arranged.
*Direct billing* is subject to your insurance provider’s approval; any denied claims become the customer’s responsibility.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Debit, Cash or E-Transfer
4. Prescriptions & Eyewear
Prescriptions are valid only if issued by our optometrist or a verified provider.
- *Returns/Exchanges*:
- Unused, undamaged eyewear may be returned within 30 days with receipt.
- Custom lenses or special orders are *non-refundable*.
- *Warranty*: Frames carry a 1-year warranty, and Lenses carry 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects.
5. Liability & Limitations
Go Optic is not liable for:
- Incorrect prescriptions provided by third-party doctors.
- Delays due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Damage to eyewear due to misuse or accidents post-delivery.
Clients must provide a safe, accessible environment for our mobile team.
6. Privacy Policy
Personal and health information is collected solely for service purposes and protected under Alberta Health and the College of Opticians of Canada. Data will not be sold to third parties.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of changes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the College of Opticians of Canada.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. BY USING THE SERVICE OR ACCESSING THE SITE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF USE AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS MENTIONED IN THIS AGREEMENT, THEN YOU MUST DISCONTINUE THE USE OF THE SITE AND/OR SERVICE.
