RETURN AND WARRANTY POLICY

At Go Optic - Mobile Optical, we stand behind our products and services. This policy outlines our return, exchange, and warranty procedures for eyewear purchased through our mobile optical services in Canada. Please note, the effective date below will always be the dispensed date.

1. General Return Guidelines
✅ 30-Day Return: 100% satisfaction or refund for eligible items
✅ Original Receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns/exchanges.  
✅ Refund Method: Original payment (processed in 5-10 business days).  
❌ Prescription lenses 
❌ Custom/special-order frames  

2. Prescription Guarantee
- If we made an error in your prescription lenses, we'll *remake them at no cost* within 30 days.  
- If your prescription changes within 60 days, we’ll replace your lenses for free
- If unwearable due to fitting errors on our part, we’ll exchange frames (subject to availability).  

3. Warranty Coverage 
*Manufacturer Defects*:  
  - Frames: 1-year limited warranty against material/workmanship flaws.  
  - Lenses: 2 years warranty for any coating or manufacturing defect (excludes accidental damage, loss, or stolen)
 - Please contact us via email or text to know if you are eligible for warranty

4. Mobile Service Bookings
*Cancellations*:  
  - Reschedule/cancel the appointments with *24 hours’ notice* to avoid a $25 fee.  
*No-Shows*: 100% of the exam fee will be charged.  

5. How to Return Items
1. Contact Us: By Email or Phone Number below to discuss the issue.
2. Ship or Drop Off:  
   - Mail: Please contact us directly to get the address (insured tracking recommended; customer pays return shipping).  
   - Hand-deliver during a scheduled mobile visit.  
3. Processing: Refunds/exchanges completed within *10 business days* of receipt.  

6. Provincial Variations 
- Quebec: 30-day return window for non-custom items under the *Consumer Protection Act*.  
- Health Insurance Billing: Reimbursement for insured services follows your provincial plan’s rules.
